Collins Aerospace in Windsor Locks, CT is seeking an onsite technician to plan, set up, and perform assembly, test, and repair of environmental control systems. You will troubleshoot malfunctions, participate in quality control tests, and help optimize processes to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen per program requirements.
• 1–2 years of related experience in manufacturing or aerospace.
• Well rounded knowledge of blueprint and schematic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, set-up, layout and perform assembly, disassembly, balance, test, modification and repair of product.
• Troubleshoot to determine causes of malfunctions.
• Plan quality control tests and calibrations of gages and instruments.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to meet delivery requirements.
• Plan sequence of operations and prepare or modify work instructions.
