Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an Assembly/Test III to support mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly, testing, and fabrication. You will read blueprints, use hand tools, maintain workstation inventory, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

The role emphasizes following engineering specs, recording defects, and reworking assemblies when needed, while maintaining a clean work area and proper material handling in an onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience reading blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings is preferred.
• Ability to follow specifications and BOMs and perform quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Operate hand and electrical tools to perform assembly tasks efficiently.
• Maintain inventory at workstations and ensure materials are available.
• Perform quality checks and record defects for corrective action.
• Rework or repair assemblies per engineering changes to meet standards.
• Adhere to quality standards and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and proper material handling.
• Lift up to 25 lbs with or without accommodation.
