Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking skilled technicians to enable full-scale production of Kuiper satellites in Washington. You will assemble and test LRUs, avionics, and mechanical assemblies, following strict safety and quality standards while supporting process improvements and on-time deliverables.

The role requires 1+ years in high-traceability manufacturing, proficiency with hand tools and precision measuring tools, and experience reading engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment.
• 1+ years using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• 1+ years working with test tools and test methods that adequately validate the system.
• Experience reading, interpreting and working from engineering documentation and/or drawings.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Assemble and test LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, avionics, or other complex aerospace builds with emphasis to detail.
• Participate in process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory.
• Independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables.
• Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance.
• Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations.
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems.
• Your work may include contributing to improving SOPs and safety procedures.
