Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Washington State is hiring a Manufacturing Technician III to support full-scale production of Leo satellites. You will follow work instructions, assemble LRUs and electrical-mechanical assemblies, and work with aerospace-grade hardware.

The role emphasizes safety, process improvements, and meeting delivery goals. Requires 3+ years in mechanical/electrical hardware assembly in high-reliability environments; High School diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years experience in mechanical or electrical hardware assembly, test, and/or installation.
• Experience in high-reliability environments such as aerospace, automotive, medical devices, aviation or military.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Assembly and test with emphasis to detail, an assortment of LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, avionics, or other complex aerospace builds.
• Participate in process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory.
• Independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables.
• Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance.
• Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations.
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems.
• Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (Using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc).
• Contribute to improving SOPs and safety procedures.
