Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC in Kirkland, WA seeks a versatile Manufacturing Technician to support avionic assemblies and testing in a fast-paced lab environment.

You will assemble LRUs, fiber optics, PCBAs, operate test equipment, and ensure calibration and safety compliance across shifts. The role includes standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lbs, and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment or relevant trade school certification.
• 1+ years using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments.
• 1+ years working with test tools and test methods that validate the system.
• Experience reading, interpreting and working from engineering documentation and/or drawings.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations.
• Assemble and test with emphasis to detail, an assortment of avionic LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, handle and install fiber‑optics, and PCBAs.
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Supports some preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems.
• Identify equipment requirements, process improvements, maintain floor stock inventory.
• Independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables.
• Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance.
• Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients.
• Contribute to improving SOPs and safety procedures.
