Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is hiring manufacturing technicians in Redmond, WA to support full-scale production of Kuiper satellites. You will assemble, test and verify LRUs and aerospace assemblies, following strict instructions and safety rules to ensure quality, throughput and reliability.

The role requires 1+ years in traceability manufacturing, tool experience, and ability to read engineering drawings, with willingness to work multi-shift and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment or equivalent trade school certification.
• 1+ years using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• 1+ years working with test tools and test methods that validate systems.
• Experience reading, interpreting and working from engineering documentation and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Assemble and test LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, avionics, or other aerospace builds with attention to detail.
• Participate in process improvements and maintain floor stock inventory.
• Execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables.
• Perform test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance.
• Champion safety requirements in all zones and locations.
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Support preventative maintenance on test equipment and data acquisition systems.
• Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries between sites.
• Contribute to improving SOPs and safety procedures.
