Pratt & Whitney in Jupiter, FL is hiring an Assembly and Test Inspector for a 3rd shift (midnight–7:00am). This role focuses on inspecting engine components with a range of tools and measurement devices, following detailed procedures and engineering drawings.

The position emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to FAA-related standards and site-specific guidelines. You will perform dimensional and visual inspections, interpret complex drawings, and document results while supporting team

Qualifications

• This role requires a high school diploma or GED and formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing.
• Candidates should be able to read and follow complex drawings, specs, and procedures.
• Experience with inspection methods and tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use a wide variety of power and mechanical tools to perform functional checks on engine assembly and components.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections following standardized methods and techniques.
• Work from inspection procedures and engineering drawings.
• Accept or reject material based on findings and communicate nonconformances.
• Record results and complete required paperwork accurately.
• Operate fixed and variable measuring instruments and automated measuring machines.
• Carry out inline checks and verifications of dimensions per operation sheets.
• Carry out additional tasks to support department objectives and skills development.
