Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Jupiter, FL is seeking an Assembly and Test Inspector for our Product Delivery Center. This 2nd shift role (Mon–Fri, 3:30pm–Midnight) includes a shift differential and onsite work.

You will use power tools to perform functional checks on engine assemblies, conduct dimensional and visual inspections, and verify parts against engineering drawings. A high school diploma or GED and 2 years of formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing are required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• 2 years formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing.

Responsibilities

• Use power and mechanical tools to perform functional checks on engine assemblies.
• Perform dimensional and visual inspections per procedures and drawings.
• Work from inspection procedures and engineering drawings to verify parts and tools.
• Accept or reject material based on findings.
• Record results and complete required paperwork.
• Operate fixed and variable measuring instruments and document measurements.
