Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Florida is seeking an Assembly and Test Inspector for our MRO Commercial Engine Center. This 1st shift role (Mon-Fri, 6:30am-3:00pm) requires hands-on inspection of engine components and assemblies using a variety of tools and measuring devices.

You will assess dimensions, perform surface checks, and document results. The position is safety-sensitive, FAA-regulated, and requires labor-grade 5 experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing preferred.
• Experience with aerospace manufacturing and inspection is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional checks on engine assembly and components using power and mechanical tools.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections per procedures and drawings.
• Record results and determine material acceptance or rejection.
• Follow inspection procedures and potentially refer material for rework or quality review.
• Operate fixed and variable measuring instruments and automated measuring machines.
