Job summary

Pratt & Whitney West Palm is seeking an inspector to perform receiving inspections, dimensional checks and component verification on turbine engines. The role supports the Aftermarket Operations team and ensures adherence to SBs and ADs with strict quality standards.

The position is a 2nd shift (3:30pm–Midnight) with a 10% shift differential. FAA-regulated setting requires accuracy, safety, and compliance in all tasks, including documentation and disposition decisions.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• 1+ years of formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing or 1+ years of automotive training or experience.
• A&P License preferred.
• 4+ years in similar function; MRO/FAR 145 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving inspections and initial inventory of turbine engines and components.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections following standardized methods and established techniques.
• Review customer requirements, SBs and ADs; make disposition decisions.
• Ensure safe work practices, proper equipment handling and housekeeping.
