Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a leader in aircraft engines, is seeking an Assembly and Test Mechanic for a 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, midnight-7:00am) in Jupiter, FL. You will work from procedures and technical instructions to assemble, disassemble, and test jet engine components, ensuring quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include operating a range of tools, verifying instrumentation, mentoring up to two teammates, and completing required documentation for each job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of formal training in power-plant mechanics and testing or automotive training/experience.
• Formal training in power plant mechanics and testing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work from procedures, sketches, layouts and instructions to assemble or disassemble jet engine or test articles.
• Assemble/disassemble engine or test stand, check critical functions, and ensure quality standards.
• Operate tools and instrumentation for testing and troubleshooting; document results and sign off.
• Assist in training up to two other team members during assembly/disassembly or test processes.
