Job summary

ST Engineering MRAS is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead Quality Engineering functions for assigned programs, acting as the focal point to inspectors. You will apply AS9100 and ISO 9001 concepts, drive root-cause analysis, and manage nonconformances with RCCA tools. Strong communication and PC skills are essential.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in engineering or sciences (or a HS diploma with 5+ years in manufacturing quality). Export-control status is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in science or engineering with 1 year in manufacturing or production quality
• HS Diploma/GED with 5 years in manufacturing or production quality role
• U.S. Person status due to export-controlled technology requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage all Quality Engineering functions for assigned programs or areas
• Act as point of contact for program inspectors
• Understand AS9100, ISO 9001 and Nadcap requirements
• Eliminate process variation and defects with creative solutions
• Lead root cause analysis using RCCA tools (PFMEA, DMAIC, 5 WHYs, 8D)
• Support weekly team meetings and corrective action boards
• Process nonconformances and workflows in a timely manner
• Pursue training opportunities and prioritize tasks to align with business goals
• Communicate effectively and use PowerPoint/Excel for analysis
