Job summary

ST Engineering MRAS is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead quality functions on designated programs. You will serve as the program contact for inspectors and help eliminate defects through RCCA methods, while ensuring compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and Nadcap requirements.

The role requires a degree in a science/engineering field with experience in manufacturing or production quality, and a strong ability to communicate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a science/engineering field with 1 year in manufacturing or production quality.
• Or High School Diploma/GED with at least 5 years in manufacturing or production quality.
• U.S. Person status per export control: required to be eligible for the role.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Quality Engineering functions for assigned program(s) with guidance.
• Act as the point of contact for the program to inspectors.
• Understand AS9100, ISO 9001 and Nadcap requirements.
• Eliminate process variation and defects through creative solutions.
• Perform root cause analysis using RCCA tools (PFMEA, DMAIC, 5 WHYs, 8D).
• Support regular team meetings such as Corrective Action Boards and Quality Engagement Council.
• Process nonconformances and workflows promptly.
• Pursue training opportunities as they arise.
• Solicit weekly task priorities aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members and leaders.
• Communicate effectively and maintain strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, stats tools).
