A leading staffing agency is looking for a Quality Engineer to ensure high standards at an Aerospace Manufacturing facility. The role demands over 5 years of experience in quality engineering within the Aerospace sector, familiarity with CNC machining and molding manufacturing, and AS9100 certification. Responsibilities include managing corrective actions, driving continuous improvement, and conducting internal audits. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in GD&T and blueprint reading, as well as experience with Lean tools.
Qualifications
5+ years as a Quality Engineer in the Aerospace industry.
AS9100 D Internal Auditor certification preferred.
Understand and apply statistical techniques for process improvement.
Responsibilities
Manage the Corrective/Preventive Action system.
Track Continuous Improvement Program.
Investigate customer returns and identify root causes.
Supervise and train inspectors in quality skills.
