Job summary

RTX is seeking an Assembly Process Engineer for Pratt & Whitney in Jupiter, FL. The role focuses on creating and maintaining jet engine assembly work instructions, improving processes, and troubleshooting issues on the DO shop floor.

The two-year Engineering Development Program rotates across DO and PSCV, broadening experience before permanent placement. Ideal candidates have leadership and strong communication skills, a STEM degree, and are willing to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Leadership, communication and teamwork skills are required.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering by start date.

Responsibilities

• Create and approve jet engine assembly procedures per engineering requirements.
• Support assembly floor through ownership of assembly instructions and troubleshooting.
• Develop, implement and validate robust new assembly processes for production readiness.
• Grow technical proficiency in engine hardware, assembly methods and equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement to enhance safety and efficiency.
