Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston, Inc. in North Carolina is seeking an Industrial Assembly Engineer to join our Engineering department in Kinston, NC.

You will specify tools and machinery, define technical specifications, and support suppliers to ensure best-in-class assembly solutions. Join a global team responsible for aerospace components, contribute to process improvements, and help align local strategies with central technology standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in Manufacturing Engineering or similar.
• Knowledge in specifying tools & machinery.
• English: Fluent (spoken & written).
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders at different levels on technical and business matters.
• Experience in manufacturing or assembly of technical parts.

Responsibilities

• Define and prepare specification for Jigs & Toolings related to assembly of parts and components.
• Prepare Technical Documentation for Call for Tender and support in supplier down selection.
• Support Production on disturbances related to assembly technologies and processes.
• Develop and implement new assembly processes and technologies on the shop floor.
• Take part in weekly team meetings with the transnational Assembly Technology Team.
