Job summary

RTX is seeking an Assembler II for the 2nd shift (3P – 11:30P) at our San Marcos, TX facility. You will read blueprints, operate hand and electrical tools, and perform quality checks while maintaining a safe, clean workstation. The role emphasizes adherence to engineering specs and inventory control within a manufacturing environment.

Preferred candidates have a HS diploma or equivalent and 1+ year of manufacturing experience, including ability to interpret engineering drawings. U.S.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• U.S. citizenship required for access to program/contract.
• Experience reading blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams and engineering drawings.
• Operate hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters and measuring equipment.
• Maintain inventory at workstations and perform quality checks.
• Rework or repair assembled equipment per engineering changes.
• Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
