Job summary

Hera Technologies in Ontario, CA, seeks a hands-on AI&T Technician to support production in a fast-paced aerospace environment. You will perform precision assembly, integration, bonding, inspection, and testing on flight hardware and advanced systems.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience in regulated manufacturing. You will read engineering drawings from travelers and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to maintain

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• 2–5+ years of aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, or related technical industries.
• Hands-on experience in assembly, integration, testing, bonding, composites, coatings, or mechanical fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, travelers, and work instructions.
• Experience working in regulated manufacturing environments (AS9100 or similar quality systems preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, integration, bonding, and testing operations on aerospace hardware and components.
• Execute builds in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, travelers, and process specifications.
• Support mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly activities using hand tools, fixtures, and specialized equipment.
• Assist with bonding, coatings, composites handling, and related manufacturing processes as required.
• Conduct inspections and basic functional testing to verify product quality and conformance.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and ensure traceability requirements are met.
• Identify and elevate nonconformances, material issues, or process concerns to leadership and Quality teams.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to resolve production challenges.
• Support process improvements focused on efficiency, throughput, and quality enhancement.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment.
• Assist with new product introduction (NPI) builds, prototypes, and process validation activities as needed.
• Support production schedules and delivery commitments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
