Job summary

York Space Systems is seeking an Assembly, Integration & Test Technician to contribute to flight hardware builds in a tight-knit team. You will perform complex mechanical assemblies, soldering, harness builds, inspection, and testing under supervision.

Candidates should be passionate about space, eager to learn, and able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in restricted spaces. Clearance eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Communication skills (both written and oral)
• Mechanical aptitude: ability to utilize hand tools & precision tools
• Lift and carry 50lbs.

Primary responsibilities will be working with/learning from more experienced technicians in the following areas: Complex mechanical assemblies, soldering, harness build, inspection, test, etc. We are looking for team members that are excited about being part of a close-knit team of individuals. Must be passionate about space systems and have the desire to continuously learn and improve. Responsibilities will include inspection, assembly, integration and operational checkout of flight hardware.
