Job summary

GE Aerospace's Intergalactic division in St. George, UT is seeking an AI&T Technician to assemble, integrate, and test high-reliability spacecraft hardware, supporting program milestones from award to delivery.

You will work in a cleanroom, use precision tools, read drawings, perform functional tests, document results, and collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot issues while adhering to safety and ITAR requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent practical experience in aerospace/related field.
• 2+ years hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of high-reliability hardware.
• Ability to read/specs/drawings and follow work instructions.
• Proficient with precision hand tools and test fixtures (multimeters, oscilloscopes).
• Knowledge of cleanroom protocols and ESD control.

Responsibilities

• Execute AIT procedures for spacecraft subsystems (structural, propulsion, avionics, payload).
• Perform functional tests, continuity checks, and environmental tests per plans.
• Operate and maintain test equipment and cleanroom environments.
• Document all AIT activities and results, including anomalies and configuration changes.
• Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in pre-shipment inspections and prepare flight hardware for delivery.
• Adhere to safety, cleanroom, and QA guidelines.
• Contribute to process improvements in AIT.
