Job summary

GE Aerospace, through its Intergalactic program, seeks an AI&T Technician to assemble, integrate, and test spacecraft subsystems on-site in St. George, UT.

The role requires precise handling of hardware, test execution, and documentation of results to support program milestones. Applicants should have an Associate's degree or equivalent experience and at least 2+ years in aerospace hardware AIT, with strong reading of schematics, use of multimeters/oscilloscopes, and strict cleanroom/ESD

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in aerospace engineering technology, electronics technology, mechanical technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of high-reliability hardware, preferably in aerospace/defense.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Experience with precision tools and measurement equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes) and test fixtures.
  • Strong cleanroom and ESD control knowledge, plus detail-oriented problem solving.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, integrate, and test spacecraft subsystems per procedures.
  • Perform functional tests, continuity checks, and environmental testing (thermal vacuum, vibration).
  • Operate and maintain test equipment and cleanroom environments with proper calibration.
  • Document all AIT activities, test results, and configuration changes.
  • Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
