Job summary

Sierra Space Corporation in Colorado is recruiting an Assembly Integration & Test (AI&T) Engineer III to lead and contribute to advanced testing and validation of aerospace systems. You will guide less experienced engineers and own V&V activities under general direction.

The role emphasizes requirements management, system design, and integration, with a path toward leadership within Test Engineering. A TS clearance is required, reflecting national-security responsibilities and DoD coordination.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience; Masters preferred).
• Experience with verification and validation (V&V) activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex and professional test plans, test procedures, and test reports to demonstrate compliance with system requirements
• Apply expertise in dynamics, thermal, measurement, HSI, software testing, and integration to solve broad technical problems
• Work in multi-disciplinary teams, guiding less experienced engineers while developing testing approaches
• Represent Test Engineering in requirements management, system design, and systems integration, ensuring performance and validation
• Handle test-related non-conformances following QA principles
• Read schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures, and troubleshoot
• Use testing equipment and methodologies to support validation of aerospace systems
• Prepare detailed technical data, reports, and analyses for engineering initiatives
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to team members and stakeholders
