Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking an Assembly Integration & Test (AI&T) Engineer III in Colorado to lead advanced testing and validation of aerospace systems. You will guide less experienced engineers, manage verification activities, and ensure quality across complex test programs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, requirements management, and hands-on test execution in a dynamic space environment. A Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Typically 5+ years of related experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
• General expertise in one area of test engineering (dynamics, thermal, measurement, HSI, SW Test, Integration, etc.).
• Ability to read schematics and use service manuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex test plans, procedures, and reports to demonstrate compliance with system requirements.
• Apply test engineering principles to solve broad technical problems.
• Mentor less experienced engineers while developing testing approaches under general direction.
• Represent Test Engineering in requirements management and system design for V&V activities.
• Prepare technical data, reports, and analyses to support decisions.
