Job summary

Responsibilities include managing requirements, performing V&V, and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality aerospace testing results. Security clearance is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically 5+ years of related experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.
• General expertise in one area of test engineering principles and practices.
• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.
• Experience with requirements management, system design, and V&V.
• Ability to read/interpret schematics, use service manuals, follow test procedures.
• General expertise with various testing equipment, standards, and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex and professional test plans, procedures, and reports to demonstrate compliance with system requirements.
• Apply expertise in test engineering areas such as dynamics, thermal, measurement, and software testing to solve problems.
• Lead and guide less experienced engineers in testing solutions under general direction.
• Represent Test Engineering in requirements management and system integration.
• Plan, conduct, and document Verification and Validation (V&V) activities.
• Read schematics and service manuals and troubleshoot testing issues.
• Prepare technical data, reports, and analyses to support decisions.
