Job summary

Sierra Space, a leader in space technology, seeks a Test Engineer II in Louisville, CO. You will contribute to testing and validation activities for aerospace systems, working under supervision within cross-functional teams to solve problems across moderate scope and complexity.

You will plan and execute test activities, read schematics, and document results, ensuring compliance with requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Typically 2+ years of related experience.
• Ability to read/interpret schematics and follow test procedures.
• Working knowledge of Product and Quality Assurance principles and non-conformance disposition.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning, conducting, and documenting Verification & Validation activities for aerospace systems and components.
• Apply engineering principles to support testing and resolve technical problems of moderate scope.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams following established procedures under supervision.
• Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and reports meeting system requirements.
• Utilize testing equipment and methodologies to support validation efforts and ensure quality.
