Job summary

Beehive Industries in Centennial, CO seeks a seasoned Manufacturing Program Manager to lead manufacturing readiness, program schedules, risks, and delivery commitments, aligning with customer requirements and business goals.

The role focuses on manufacturing and supply chain strategy for controls and accessories, partnering with engineering and supply chain to translate technical needs into actionable sourcing, manufacturing, and delivery plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or close discipline in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Sciences, Manufacturing, Supply chain, Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years of project management experience; Additive manufacturing experience is desired.
• PMP certification is desired but not required.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes (AM, thermal processing, machining, coating, NDT, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the Manufacturing Product Development Team activities and ensure stakeholders are informed and accountable.
• Create and manage project schedules and coordinate with operations and other departments to deliver hardware.
• Communicate progress, setbacks, and improvements with engineering during manufacturing.
• Anticipate risks and execute mitigation actions.
• Flow customer requirements into manufacturing reviews and flow-downs.
• Work with outside vendors to obtain quotes, issue POs, and manage schedules.
• Establish machining supply chain strategy and onboard external vendors.
• Track hardware movement to ensure timely delivery to next operation and end customer.
• Coordinate with departments to handle non-conformances and engineering changes.
• Partner with finance and leadership on unit cost forecasting and cost-out projects.
• Manage and track project budgets for under-budget delivery.
• Meet deadlines while juggling multiple priorities.
• Analyze data quickly to enable informed business decisions.
• Support proactive process improvements at project or organizational level.
