Ursa Major is seeking a Summer 2027 Additive Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join a small, fast-moving team focused on propulsion design, development, manufacturing, test, and production.

You will support laser powder bed fusion part development, prepare build files, operate LPBF machines, and contribute to a design guideline and geometry library, with hands-on learning and ownership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Hands on design and operation in any category of 3D printing.
• 3D CAD experience.

Responsabilités

• Support LPBF component manufacturing at Ursa Major.
• Develop guidelines for standardized support structures and modeling strategies.
• Create a library of standard witness and mechanical specimen geometries.
