Job summary

Ursa Major in Colorado is seeking a Summer 2027 Combustion Devices Engineering Intern to join a small, fast-moving team. You will contribute to propulsion design, development, manufacturing, test, and production while gaining hands-on experience.

This full-time internship emphasizes ownership, problem solving, and effective teamwork, with opportunities to influence CAD and testing lifecycle decisions.

Qualifications

• Background in mechanical, aerospace, or manufacturing engineering.
• Must be an academic Junior and above by May 2027 with relevant coursework.
• Hands‑on build and/or test experience in design-build-test lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support propulsion design, development, manufacturing, test, and production.
• Assist with first principles analysis for mechanical and fluid scenarios.
• Contribute to CAD modeling, prototyping, and testing plans.
• Collaborate with team to communicate results and drive improvements.
