Ursa Major Technologies is seeking a Summer 2027 Additive Manufacturing Engineering Internship. As an intern on a small, fast-moving team, you will support laser powder bed fusion part development and production, prepare build files, operate LPBF machines, and contribute to design guidelines.

This full-time internship offers hands-on experience in propulsion design, metal 3D printing, and additive manufacturing, with opportunities to influence modeling strategies and a geometry library.

Competenze

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Hands on design and operation in any category of 3D printing.
• 3D CAD experience.

Mansioni

• Support LPBF component manufacturing at Ursa Major
• Develop guidelines for more standardised support structure and general modelling strategies
• Create a library of standard witness and mechanical specimen geometries
• Work alongside the additive technicians to operate LPBF machines and post process builds
• Additive manufacturing build file set‑up and programming
