Job summary

RTC Aerospace LLC is seeking a 5 Axis Mill Setup Machinist for a full-time weekend shift in Fife, WA. The successful candidate will set up and operate CNC machines, focusing on precision aerospace components. Responsibilities include making tool adjustments, performing inspections, and collaborating with quality assurance. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of CNC experience, strong math skills, and the ability to work independently. Compensation ranges from $25 to $40 per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CNC setup and operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of feeds, speeds, and tooling for aerospace-grade metals and alloys.
• Experience with running multiple machines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision aerospace components.
• Make offset adjustments and tool changes as required, ensuring optimal machining performance.
• Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to identify improvements and resolve machining challenges.
