Job summary

RTCA, a precision aerospace and defense manufacturing group, is seeking a Machinist I-III to join our onsite team in Fife, WA. You will perform machine setups, select tooling, load programs, and verify parts meet engineering and quality specs.

You will work a weekend shift (Sat-Sun 5:00am-5:00pm) with potential for growth across multiple machining platforms, including 4- and 5-axis equipment, while collaborating with Quality and Engineering to improve processes and maintain a safe, clean work

Qualifications

• Experience operating and/or setting up CNC or manual machining equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gages).
• Strong understanding of machining fundamentals, tooling, feeds, speeds, and offsets.
• Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic machining and production issues.
• Strong math, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety and clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up machines onsite at Fife, WA.
