Job summary

RTCA, a precision aerospace and defense manufacturer, seeks a Machinist I-III for our Fife, WA site. This full-time, onsite role covers machine setups, tooling selection, program loading, and ensuring parts meet engineering and quality specs.

You will collaborate with Quality and Engineering to improve efficiency and quality across manufacturing operations. Machinist I handles basic setups and inspections, Machinist II tackles complex setups and multi-axis work, and Machinist III provides

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC or manual machining equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and GD&T requirements.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, indicators.
• Strong understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds, and offsets.
• Troubleshoot basic machining and production issues.
• Commitment to quality and workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate and setup multiple machines and fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints, travelers, and specifications.
• Follow safety and aerospace manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain accurate quality documentation and using measuring tools.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
