Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Design Engineer – AeroMotion in Monroe, WA to develop aerospace actuation systems from design through testing and certification. You will work across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and supplier teams to deliver flight-ready solutions.

The role requires strong CAD skills (CATIA/SolidWorks), leadership, and collaboration across disciplines. You will contribute to hydraulics and electro-mechanical subsystems within a dynamic aviation program.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field (ME/EE/AE).
Strong CAD proficiency in CATIA or SolidWorks.
Demonstrated technical leadership and teamwork.
Ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute complex engineering design assignments for aerospace actuation systems.
Support both new product development and sustaining engineering designs.
Complete design, testing, and certification tasks for new products and modifications.
Create design concepts and improvements using CAD platforms with emphasis on modeling/drafting.
Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing to meet project objectives.
