Actalent is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Everett, WA to design, document, and release electric propulsion and battery system hardware for electrified aircraft. The role emphasizes production release, engineering documentation, and cross‑functional support across aerospace, defense, mobility, and energy storage.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering preferred.
• Approx. 15 years of mechanical or aerospace engineering experience preferred.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D CAD modeling and drawings.
• Experience with GD&T and manufacturing documentation.
• Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems for engineering data.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and release electric propulsion and battery systems.
• Create CAD models and drawings for rotatives, structures, and assemblies.
• Perform trade studies to evaluate design and manufacturability options.
• Produce complete design packages with BOMs and assembly instructions.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure production readiness.
