Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer in Tukwila, WA, to lead manufacturing design, planning, and integration for development aircraft programs. You will own the build plan and ensure fabrication meets stringent design, test, and program requirements.

The role emphasizes collaboration across IPTs, cross-functional teams, and supplier partners, with a competitive hourly rate starting at $49.87 and a Monday–Friday 1st shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
• Typically 5+ years of related experience, or a combination of advanced technical education and experience (Master’s + 3 years, PhD, etc.)
• Strong understanding of manufacturing planning, DFMA principles, and integrated build plan development
• Experience collaborating in cross functional engineering and production environments
• Ability to lead technical initiatives with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing design and planning efforts for development aircraft programs.
• Own the build plan to ensure fabrication meets requirements.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials, work instructions, and illustrations.
• Coordinate with internal fabrication teams and supplier/procurement partners to track and secure needed materials.
• Draft, update, and review procedures supporting business and program needs.
• Create and deliver training materials for the Design & Planning ME team.
