Job summary

Quest Defense Systems and Solutions seeks an Aero-Tools Engineer to bridge IT and engineering, providing front-line and backend support for engineering tools in Cincinnati. You will triage issues, coordinate with the ADT team, and improve the tool build and distribution process.

The role is onsite in Cincinnati, OH, temporary, ending December 31, 2026. A BS in IT engineering and US citizenship are required, with strong scripting (Bash, Perl, Git) and familiarity with Windows/Linux.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Experience with Windows and Linux OS for tool execution.
• Proficient in scripting and software debugging.

Responsibilities

• Support user community by fielding tool issues reported by designers.
• Triage and resolve open tickets with the ADT team.
• Manage tool build/distribution processes and improve reliability.

Skills

Windows/Linux familiarity

Scripting: Bash/Perl/Git

C/C++ and/or Fortran experience
