Job summary

Quest Defense Systems & Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced Aerospace Software Verification Engineer to join our Cincinnati, OH team. You will perform software design reviews and verification for a Level A certified aircraft engine control system.

Responsibilities include developing, executing, and debugging unit tests, verifying requirements-based functionality, and resolving defects found during reviews and testing. U.S. citizens or permanent residents only; onsite role.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of software concepts, data types, control structures, and modular design.
• Experience interpreting software logic diagrams, flowcharts, or model-based design representations.
• Proven hands-on software verification activities, such as testing, reviews, or analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically in strict processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed reviews of software design diagrams against standards checklists and best practices.
• Develop, execute, and debug software unit tests to verify requirements-based functionality.
• Identify, document, and resolve discrepancies or defects discovered during reviews and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support verification activities in a regulated aerospace environment.
