Job summary

Quest Defense Systems and Solutions is seeking a technically strong, customer-focused Engineer to bridge IT and engineering, developing and maintaining robust distribution mechanisms for engineering tools. The Aero-Tools Engineer will provide front-line and backend support, triage issues, and continuously improve tool build and distribution reliability.

Role requires US citizenship or permanent resident status, onsite work in Cincinnati, OH, and a temporary engagement through 2026 with potential

Qualifications

BS in IT engineering or related field.
Experience developing, coding and deploying distribution mechanisms for engineering tools.
US citizenship or permanent resident

Responsibilities

Support user community by fielding issues reported by the designer running the tool.
Work with the ADT triage team to resolve open tickets.
Define and manage tool build processes to improve support for tools.
Answer support questions on tool issues.
Identify issues with users, research problems, propose solutions, and make corrections to tools and distribution environment.
Create and update logs of issues and corrective actions.
Provide timely communications on significant issues.
Prepare and present reports on findings.
Collaborate with internal IT teams to improve performance and reliability of the distribution process.
