Job summary

Air Methods CBS in Evergreen, Alabama, seeks an experienced EMT-P to deliver pre-hospital advanced life support and manage patient care from first contact to transfer to the receiving facility.

You will work in state-of-the-art helicopters, maintain documentation, complete mandatory trainings, and participate in mission briefings. A 3+ year busy 911 background and current certifications are required; bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years recent experience in a busy 911 system.
• Previous critical care transport and flight experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced life support care from initial contact to transfer to accepting facility.
• Maintain thorough patient care documentation.
• Participate in pre-mission liftoff checklists and assist pilot as requested.
• Ensure safety standards for self, crew, patient, and equipment.
