Job summary

Air Methods CBS in Semmes, AL is seeking an experienced Critical Care EMT-P to provide pre-hospital advanced life support care from the scene through hospital transfer. You will maintain aircraft readiness and documentation, while aligning with Air Methods CBS clinical standards.

Requirements include 3+ years in a busy 911 system, EMT-P licensure, and specialty certifications (FP-C/CCP-C); a flexible, on-call schedule and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent busy 911 EMS experience.
• Registered EMT-P licensed in state(s) served.
• Specialty certification: FP-C or CCP-C.
• BLS/CPR; ACLS; PALS or equivalent; ITLS or PHTLS as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced life support care from scene to hospital transfer; document thoroughly.
• Maintain equipment and supplies onboard aircraft; report malfunctions and ensure readiness.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and mission debriefings; assist pilot and communications as needed.
• Ensure safety, compliance with state regulations and Air Methods CBS policies.
• Participate in education, outreach, and research activities; rotate on 24/7 on-call schedule.
