Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is seeking a Telecom Aerial Foreman to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems. You''ll ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while guiding on-site team members.

The role involves supervising installs, using bucket trucks and digging equipment, and supporting crew with daily tasks. Travel for storm response may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver''s license with an acceptable driving record.
• DOT physical exam and valid medical card.
• At least 3 years of related work experience.
• Certified pole climber or willingness to become certified.
• CDL Class A driver license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure installation of fiber/telecom cables and structures per codes and customer requirements.
• Safely use equipment like bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators.
• Ensure work areas are safe and traffic flows on site.
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Safely use hand tools and power tools (wrenches, drills, saws).
• Provide guidance and support to others on the crew.
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks documenting productivity and safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
