Job summary

Woolpert is seeking a Topographic Aerial Sensor Operator to join our Aerial Acquisitions team in Dayton. The role involves sensor operation for airborne mapping missions, with travel on a rotating 21/14 schedule both in the U.S. and internationally.

Applicants must have work authorization in the U.S. and be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed. Familiarity with ESRI ArcGIS and Leica FlightPro is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; GIS/ Geography degree preferred.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally on a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ground and flight operations, mission planning, briefing and debriefing.
• Ensure data collection accuracy and quality for mapping missions.
• Set up and operate ground GPS base stations and flight planning; troubleshoot data.
• Download, edit, and troubleshoot sensor data in the field.
• Follow regulations and established procedures.
