Job summary

Woolpert's Dayton, OH office seeks a Topographic Aerial Sensor Operator to join the Aerial Acquisitions team. You will participate in ground and flight operations, ensure data quality, and support tactical and wide-area mapping projects.

Woolpert requires travel on a rotating schedule (21 days on, 14 off) both domestically and internationally. Visa sponsorship is not provided. Base pay ranges from $24.56 to $30.72 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or GED or two years related experience.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and possibly internationally.
• Preferred knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS, Leica FlightPro, TerraSolid.
• Experience operating Leica Terrain Mapper, ADS 100, and DMC preferred.
• Strong communication and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Adapt to industry changes and internal initiatives.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in ground and flight operations, including mission planning, execution, briefing, debriefing, communications, and safety.
• Ensure proper collection of data for accuracy and quality.
• Understand the collection of tactical and wide area mapping.
• Comply with all governing regulations and operating procedures.
• Download, edit, and troubleshoot collected sensor data in the field; set up ground GPS base stations and flight planning.
