Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services are hiring an Aerial Lift Trimmer in Iowa. The role involves trimming, pruning, and removing trees using bucket trucks or similar equipment. Travel for storm restoration work is expected. The position emphasizes safety, equipment maintenance, and teamwork as you support the crew on daily operations and emergency responses.

Qualifications

• Experience operating an aerial lift trimmer with a tree care company is required.
• Driver's license is required.
• Must pass background check and drug screen as required for this job.

Responsibilities

• Follow and enforce safe practices and rules.
• Prepare truck and materials daily.
• Perform professional tree maintenance as directed by supervisor.
• Clear and trim trees and brush away from utility lines; remove branches.
• Clean up and dispose of all debris.
• Maintain and track tools and equipment used daily.
• Improve climbing and tree maintenance skills.
• Assist other crew members in daily activities.
• Safeguard employees and public from hazards by enforcing safety practices.
