Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services is seeking an Aerial Lift Trimmer to trim, prune, and remove trees using bucket trucks or similar equipment. Prior aerial lift experience and a valid driver’s license are required.

Responsibilities include safe operation, material prep, performing maintenance, and assisting crew during daily tasks and storm restoration work as needed.

Qualifications

• Candidates must show working knowledge of knots, ropes and rigging used in tree trimming and removal.
• Must be able to identify tree species and manage electrical hazards near lines.
• Ability to work at considerable heights under varied weather conditions.
• Should possess first-aid certification and CPR knowledge.
• Experience with emergency rescue techniques and PPE compliance.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe practices and help enforce safety rules at all times.
• Prepare truck and materials for daily work as directed by Foreperson.
• Perform professional tree maintenance and trimming as instructed.
• Clear and trim trees near utility lines and remove branches and debris.
• Maintain and inventory tools and equipment used daily.
• Support crew and assist with storm restoration tasks as needed.
