Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services seek an Aerial Lift Trimmer to trim, prune, and remove trees with a bucket truck or similar equipment. Prior aerial lift experience and a valid driver’s license are required, and travel may be needed.

You will follow safety rules, prepare daily materials, perform professional tree maintenance, identify tree species, and manage debris. The role includes storm work, equipment care, and collaboration with the crew.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate working knowledge of knots, ropes and rigging used in tree trimming/removal.
• Must identify tree species.
• Must be familiar with electrical hazards near conductors and aerial techniques.

Responsibilities

• Follow and enforce safety practices at all times.
• Prepare truck and materials daily as directed by Foreperson.
• Perform professional tree maintenance as directed.
• Clear/trim trees and brush around utility lines; remove debris.
• Maintain and track tools and equipment used daily.
• Observe and improve climbing/tree maintenance skills.
• Assist other crew members in daily activities.
• Safeguard workers and public by enforcing safe practices; keep area clean.
