Job summary

Air Methods CBS in Kennesaw, GA seeks an experienced Paramedic to provide pre-hospital ALS and assist in neonatal/pediatric transports by helicopter. You will maintain medical documentation, ensure safety, and participate in pre-mission briefings and training.

Minimum three years in a busy 911 system with EMT-P license and required certifications is expected; relief coverage includes a 5% travel time. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Registered EMT-P license in state(s) served.
• National Certification may be required by state.
• Certification in FP-C or CCP-C within 2 years of hire.
• CPR/BLS/ACLS/PALS with ITLS or PHTLS as required.
• Training in NIMS IS 100/200/700/800 with HazMat on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced life support from call to transfer.
• Maintain documentation and equipment readiness for flight.
• Collaborate with Medical Director(s) and base staff.
• Attend pre-mission briefings and post-mission debriefings.
• Ensure safety and compliance with state regulations and policies.
• Assist neonatal/pediatric transports as needed.
