Air Methods seeks experienced Emergency Medical Technicians-Paramedics to deliver high quality pre-hospital ALS care in Effingham, Illinois. You will assess patients, provide advanced life support, and document care while supporting flight operations in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires 3+ years of recent busy 911 experience, certifications in ACLS/PALS, and the ability to work in a dynamic airborne environment with strict safety standards.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED plus EMS experience or training.
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred.
• Minimum three years’ recent experience in a busy 911 system.
• Previous critical care transport and flight experience a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide pre-hospital ALS care from initial contact to transfer.
• Maintain thorough patient care documentation.
• Maintain competency per state regulations and Medical Director guidance.
• Attend minimum six educational programs annually.
• Report equipment issues and ensure supplies on aircraft.
• Participate in patient follow-up and outreach activities.
• Assist in pre-mission liftoff and post-mission debriefings.
