Job summary

Air Methods CBS in Murphysboro, IL seeks a Flight Paramedic to deliver pre-hospital ALS care from initial contact to hospital handoff. You’ll participate in pre-mission briefings, liftoff checklists, post-mission debriefings, and ensure safety standards are met throughout transport.

Requirements include at least three years in a busy 911 system with EMT-P licensure, and preferred Bachelor’s in a health-related field. Benefits include comprehensive plans and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years related experience, or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred for health-related field.
• Minimum three years’ recent busy 911 experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced life support and complete patient care documentation.
• Assist pre-mission briefings, liftoff checklists and mission debriefings.
• Maintain equipment, maintain licensure/certifications, and ensure safety.
