Job summary

PHI Health seeks a Flight Respiratory Therapist in Phoenix, AZ for a full-time position. You will perform specialized respiratory therapies for neonatal patients transported by rotor-wing, fixed-wing and ground ambulance, and ensure accurate documentation for care and billing.

The role requires an active respiratory license, RRT, BLS, PALS and NRP, and preferred NICU/critical care transport experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to coordinate with pilots and medical crews.

Qualifications

• Active license in respiratory care and RRT certification.
• Minimum 3 years of NICU/critical care/emergency experience.
• Flight or transport experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide range of respiratory therapy functions and complex assessments for neonatal patients during transport.
• Documents assessment, treatment and stabilization info for billing and patient records.
• Maintains communications between PHI Health management and customers.
• Maintains knowledge base through meetings, labs, reviews, and CE activities.
